Debbie Caulfield

Debbie Caulfield has been a member of Figment Art since 2022. She first joined the group when we worked on a project on loneliness and since then, she’s been a regular member of the group, going to our art sessions and events that we put on.

She creates work involving people and creatures, engaging and communicating against the backdrop of seasons. Her work has been in various exhibitions in Sussex and I caught up with her to find out the work that she will be creating for our new story maps projects.

How did you get into art?

I have been doing bits of art in my teens. Then stopped and didn’t get into it again until my early twenties.  I started art polytechnic when I was 23 years old and carried on art ever since.
